Boo!

On Saturday from 5.30 until 7pm, the park will be hosting some spooky shenanigans. Our Halloween Spooktacular, (kindly funded by Corra Foundation) will see the park transformed into a haven for ghosts, ghouls and things that go bump in the night.

This event is extra-special as it marks the start of new initiative we’re piloting to support young people to build skills in event planning, team work and enterprise. One of our young trainees, Miyah, is the lead on this event and we are so thrilled to watch her hard work pay off.

Family-friendly, fiendish fun is guaranteed even if the weather isn’t. From a scavenger hunt, to ghoul bowling, sensory squeamishness, a story about a ghost that learns to appreciate his unique talent, facepainting and pinning the teef on Keef and neb on Deb, what more could you wish for? We may even have carved an actual turnip like we did back in guising days of old.

So bring a torch, grab your cloak or mask or fangs and enjoy this free event for all (we will have a fundraising snack stall to help us maintain the park).
